I have an S23FE UI 5.1 Android 13 My Files App Version 14.5.00.15.

Can anyone confirm for me, is My Files App functional to add and locate local area network shared storage?

On my phone, I can only access Cloud Storage and Device Storage. The settings or options in My Files does not show an option to Add a network location, yet Network Storage category shows in my list along with Internal, One Drive, and Google.

Thanks in advance!

I tried that and no joy. I even disabled the requirement for passwords/biometrics for purchases within the Galaxy Store and still seeing the error message. Being new to the Community, do the moderators @helenna jump in with assistance?

I haven't had experience with @Helenna. Sorry. Only suggestion is that you try the Samsung Support Chat. Maybe they will have better luck connecting remotely to your device to help. They were unable to remote in to my phone when I had them helping. Good luck.

For those watching this thread - I spent an hour with Samsung support on Chat today and they weren't able to resolve. They suggest I submit an Error Report, which has now been completed, so we'll see if that brings any resolution.

I also submitted an error report on this days before starting this thread. Thanks NDRobinson. Good luck.

Looks like the problem in version of My File app.
At s23 version 15 at Galaxy Store it's version 14 that's why app can't update network storage component...
By the way at Google play version 13

For those still watching this thread: I finally received a response from Samsung Support for my submitted error report. They suggested a Cache Wipe via the recovery menu. Unfortunately I've tried that and still no joy. I've let them know that the problem remains and have asked if there's a way to manually install the Network Manager add-on. Will update here if any progress is made.

So sorry to hear this is still not resolved for you. One UI update and a January patch that were pushed to my phone fixed the issue for my device. I wish you success soon.

Yes there's a way to install Network Disk Manger manually. I asked a guy from 4pda explained me how...

I know how to fix the problem. 4pda helped me again. If moderator give me a permit to post here a solution I can do it if no then PM me.
Sad to say that I have to ask geeks how to fix the problem cause Samsung support can't.
