I have everything turned on in Samsung calendar so that it syncs with Google calendar & contacts. I want it to show birthdays but I got nothing! All that appears are Canadian holidays in DUPLICATE which appear in two different shades of green. What's the point of that?
I need to see birthdays, which could be retrieved from Google calendar or from Google or Samsung contacts.
Why don't apps do what they are supposed to do??

Check if you have birthday shows under Google calendar.

Hey KTnotKD,
Please make sure that you have selected the Birthday option under Google Calender as mentioned by Tallman.
Open the Calendar app> Tap on three lines in the top left croner> Select the Calendars option> Select the Gmail account> Tap on Birthday option.

Thank you Tallman for your information.

Anybody got an idea why birthdays still won't show up in Samsung calendar? Birthdays are turned on in both Google calendar and Samsung calendar.

Having the same problem - no matter how many times I check settings and "sync" accounts, the contact birthdays are a no show in my calendar..
