Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G screen unresponsive after OneUI Update 6.1

So after being proactive and updating my phone early to Samsung's latest OneUI patch, I was rewarded with my screen becoming unresponsive. Mind you, the phone is still completely functional, it connects to Wi-Fi and has background processes active. However, the screen will not react to my touches. I am stuck on my lock screen, with no ability to interact with my phone, other than holding the side buttons. As a side note, I am not using a screen shield or anything that would obstruct my finger from my phone screen. It was working fine before the update. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, updating from OneUI 6.0 to 6.1.

I had talked to Samsung Care support, who was of little help in trying to troubleshoot the issue.

I have managed factory reset the phone through the android safe mode (the menu you get from turning the phone off and back on while holding the power and volume keys).

But now my phone sits on startup screen, still unresponsive as earlier. Any suggestions on what I should do next?

Any solutions yet? I noted that touch screen software is note as N/A in the first area on the touch screen software version I found with the keypad *#2663#*. My working 8+ shows the applicable software versions under this command. Anyone had a solution yet?

I did a factory reset using a mouse and the issue is still there after the reset. They some how really messed up the screen...

I have the same issue. My touch screen worked perfectly until I did the latest update. I've tried all the recommended troubleshooting steps but no luck. Samsung please look into this and release a patch to fix this issue.

The lack of response to this failure by Samsung is absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable! It's been over a month and all these people including myself have had our phones (screens) rendered useless by the 6.1 software upgrade! You need to replace the screens or phones free of charge immediately!! Apple would never ever treat their customers like this!! Disgraceful and you should be ashamed of yourselves!! If not resolved shortly I will begin a relentless campaign of awareness that Samsung will regret far more than just doing the right thing and fixing our phones!! Disgusting!!!

Boxed packed s21 ultra XAA shipped to Nepal. One UI 6 Worked fine but after 6.1 total touch unresponsive.. can't even downgrade [Binary C]. Just what is going it's been freaking 6 whole months.. still no fix.

I am in a similar issue. I went to bed on June 25th. Phone was fine and did the update. Next morning the screen was completely non responsive. I haven't been able to use the phone for a month and urgently bought a Redmi to keep me going. The forced restart is not working either.

When will Samsung come to the public and acknowledged that the U.I 6.1 update is a trash? One has been without phone for long, when will we wait till? Bought S21 ultra 5g and didn't use it up to two months due to your update and all has standstill since.
