Galaxy SHi ladyhawke,
If your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra isn't scanning, whether it's for QR codes, barcodes, or documents, there could be several reasons. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:
Go to Settings > Apps > Camera >Tap on Permissions and make sure the camera has the necessary permissions to scan.
Enable QR Code scanning: Open the Camera app > Tap on the Settings icon (gear icon) > Make sure the Scan QR codes option is enabled.
Make sure you're in a well-lit area. Insufficient lighting can make it difficult for the camera to focus and scan codes.
Gently clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth. Smudges or dirt can interfere with the camera's ability to scan.
Keep the camera steady and try to hold the device at a proper distance from the code or document you're trying to scan.
Try different Scanning App and restart the device. Restarting your device can sometimes resolve temporary issues.
If the issue persists, you can try resetting the camera settings to default: Open the Camera app > Go to Settings > Scroll down and select Reset settings.
