So I recently had to send my GS9 for repair as it it bricked itself when attempting to factory reset it.

I have secure folder enabled and before resetting it, backed up the secure folder via cloud.

I have an S7 as a loaner phone and when restoring my non-secure back up via Smart Switch worked flawlessly, I lost a number of secure files via cloud.

When checking the cloud storage online, one screen says the backup is 68MB but when you click on it, it shows as 9.75MB.

Any idea why this is? Have I actually lost data or is it something to do with going from a GS9 to a GS7? Its not end of the world if I lose the data, just unfortunate and I'd prefer to get it back.

Thanks in advance!

Why don't you restore it and check for yourself? That way you can see if you really lost anything from your S9 knox data. The size mismatch could be a cloud error/bug

I have restored it to the S7 which I may have for a few weeks and it is missing files. It appears to be only recent files so that's why I was wondering if it had anything to do with being restored to an older device. It had said the backup was complete before I reset the S9.

Interesting. As far as I know, there ain't any difference between S7 & S9 regarding files support. Especially in secure folder. They didn't add or remove anything.
Only suggestion I can give now is to wait til you get back your S9 and then restore and see for yourself. It's highly unlikely that the Samsung Cloud backup failed to completely make the backup. Otherwise it would never say backup completed.
