Security updates

What concerns me about update of Android 13 and one UI 5 being delayed is that the last security one I have on my S22U is from September 1st.....

Same on my S20 Ultra, but I'm not overly concerned myself. 

Samsung does have a Contractual agreement (All OEMs that use Android do), to push the Security Patch Updates within 90 days of receiving it from Google.

The Link is for the EU / UK, but should be the same for North America.

Enforcement is another question?

From my last update, it's getting close to 90 days.....

Yeah, and you'll likely get the One UI V5.0 update, with at least the October Security Patch before the end of November.

If you have S22 Ultra, Samsung is suppose to give you 4 years of updating . . .
