Just picked up this s20 plus 5g phone.
My old phone was the galaxy s5 lol

Anyways.. on the s5 I could have in settings to delay my text messages for 10 seconds... then it would send

Is there no option on this new phone?

You can schedule an automatic sending message but it should be 6 minutes in advance

So far, this feature seems to happen on S5. I did googling a little bit, I saw users of S8/S9/S10 has no such feature in Samsung Message app.

thank you... it has nothing to do with scheduling.... it was an option on the s5 to delay all sent texts for 3, 5 ,10 seconds... not schedule

I can see how that feature could be useful. A shame that and a bunch of other things were removed.

I thought th same thing when I got my S8 but it's kind of hidden. there is a plus sign near where box it to type. I press that and then the 3 dots on the right. That's where I found mine after 2 months of thinking I didnt have it

Hey megwell,

We can understand your concern but the delaying a text message option is not available and it has been removed from Samsung phones as mentioned by@Tallman. The features and settings are differ from one version to other version to get a new experience from the device. However you can use the schedule message option in Samsung message app.

Thanks to@Tallman for your information.
