I have a physical SIM card and an eSIM in my S22 Ultra. I find I frequently have to switch the Preferred SIM card Primary from one provider to the other provider. To do that I have to go to Settings -> Connections -> SIM card manager.

I was wondering if there is a way to put a "shortcut" on the Home Screen to take me to the SIM card manager directly?

Thank you.

Hi, we certainly understand your requirements.

Unfortunately, there is no such option to put a shortcut on the Home Screen to the SIM card manager. You need to customise the SIM card settings in the SIM card manager menu.

However, we will consider this as a feedback and will forward to our team for review.

omg are user queries really seen & replied to?! this is amazing (I honestly always thought it is useless to voice concerns online). Helenna, this'd be a really awesome shortcut if it can be created please. as a use-case - I moved countries & am still retaining my home-country sim (which I need to keep active to get OTPs etc.) but wouldn't need to keep it switched on always. SIM Manager shortcut will be so helpful!

Totally not answering your question, but I also have a physical Sim (work) and a e Sim (personal) and just curious why you would have to switch all the time?
I've never needed to

Different providers and I get prompted to switch before some SMS messages will be received or sent.

Thats weird I have bell and rogers and both work as a dual Sim no issues. No need to switch as calls and texts both come though

I have Roger's and Telus. Some SMS messages on Telus require me to switch to Telus. I'll admit I haven't tried leaving it on Telus as my primary is Roger's.

Under settings and mobile networks try Turing on secondary sim data and see if that works Screenshot_20221114-161943_Call settings.jpg

Okay. I've made that change. Now I'll have to see if I get prompted again.

Well, that doesn't seem to have fixed the problem. Screenshot_20221114-193347_Messages_1000001563_1668472491.jpg
