Galaxy SI'm guessing I'm not the first having issue but Smart Switch 4.3.1 and OSX Big Sur (11.5.1) not compatible at all. It keep giving me error message (pics attached).
When will Samsung fix this issue??? It has been raised since 2020 ffs!! (https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S-Phones/Smart-Switch-amp-Mac-Big-Sur-Upgrade/td-p/154477...) (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252037680)

Galaxy SIf you're using (trying) Smart Switch for backups, I just backup to the external sd card in my phone.

Galaxy SFor me the mobile version of Smart Switch is perfect. If I factory reset, I'd rather restore from the sd card than having to use my laptop. Same when I get a new phone, I find it easier than hooking up to the computer, but that's just me.

Galaxy SHi bett3r,
As per the error message, it needs to allow the system extension and then reboot the device. Please tap on the System extension guide and follow the instructions.
Then, verify your phone with the different Samsung original cable and check if it works fine.
If the problem persists, you need to perform the wipe cache partition of the device.
Note: Performing a wipe cache partition removes any temporary files that may be causing an issue with the device. All personal files and settings are not affected by this option.
- Turn off the device.
- tap and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby / Power key.
- When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
- An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
- tap the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe cache partition.
- tap Bixby / Power key to select.
- tap the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then tap the Bixby / Power key to select.
- When the process is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
- tap the Bixby / Power key to restart the device.
