One of my phones, the s10 recently received the new update for the ui, and since then I have been unable to use smartview to cast to my chromecast. My chromecast just doesn't show up using that feature. However, the Chrome cast does work with supported apps, such as YouTube, Google music, and select online players.
Is this intentional, or is there a fix available?

I believe that is intentional and is described in the update notes.

Hi Marsover, You could also mirror using SmartThings app by the steps below.

Step 1. Turn on the SmartThings app and select the TV device to mirror.

Step 2. Tap More options (three vertical dots) > tap Mirror Screen (Smart View).

Step 3. Select Start now on the pop-up message that says 'Start casting with SmartThings?'

Although, the update for the UI removed the ability to cast to Chromecast but still showed other devices.

You could cast your device screen using Google Home.

Thank you I didn't think of that!
