Spotify controls on lock screen S10+

I have asked this before and @echo tried to help me..but I am still having the same issue. I have done a complete factory reset since.  No change. 

I cannot pause or forward or rewind when playing spotify in my car and connected to car bluetooth.  

Any other suggestions plz. The car is added as a trusted device and I have of course unpaired and readded since I reset the phone. TIA

Disable battery optimization and anything to do with it for Spotify in your phone settings ?

I dont think so..I can check just in case. its just weird. didn't have this issue with the Note 9
