Tab S6 QR code wants to do a cmc://setting change to my S8 to establish a "call and text of other device."  How do I accomplish this.

This doesn't work on the S8. There is no call and text on other devices. This is confusing because when I had Verizon as my service provider my S8 was connected to my tab 5e. It worked perfectly for the last 2 years. Now I've switched to Mint Mobile which is ran through.      T-Mobile and I can't get them to connect. The instructions given here on this forum do not work for a Galaxy S8.
