Tab S6 QR code wants to do a cmc://setting change to my S8 to establish a "call and text of other device."  How do I accomplish this.

Go to Settings > Advanced features > Toggle on Call & text on other devices > Tap on the Agree button to proceed to the next step.

Does it have to be a Samsung phone. I have an LG Velvet phone, can it be connected to the tablet for calls and text.

This doesn't work. I have the same problem other users in this thread describe. Galaxy 8 phone with Tab A6 lite. There is no such toggle setting in my phone and the tablet prompts a QR code that only copies this cmc://setting?said=WuoZQu5bfEOXFTcGXBky76Gs_jVmIKwXmxQb1IY_Grk=

Hey.. you might have already figured it out, but just in case you didn't.... Try looking on your phone 1 more time & go to your phones " settings " menu. Then go down to " Advanced features " & touch/select that & then you should see " Call & text from other devices ", & so then you would select/touch that to turn/toggle it on & then it should actually just connect them w/o having to scan the QR Code. Also... I believe you need to have a Samsung Account setup & make sure to have your Bluetooth on too. I was having the same issue w/ scanning the QR Code & then it just creating a note, & this fixed it for me!
