Bought the Samsung S20 Ultra yesterday and worked fine all day. But today my Notifications for messages is now making No sound and no alerts except on vibrate. Follow directions and when to settings Notifications and even shut off vibrate and double checked sounds. Had text after text sent and No change. Anyone know why it stopped and why it won't work now? And even with vibrate off it is still vibrating. And if it helps I have a Samsung Galaxy watch too. Not sure if that has something to do with it.

Hi punisher3189,

Congrats on your new purchase. Try a simple reboot and check and also make sure that Do Not Disturb is Turned off. Follow the below steps: Open Settings >> Notifications >> Tap Do not disturb >> Tap the Turn on now switch to turn on or off.

Please check for the below options and let us know if it helps.

To manage Bluetooth disconnection alerts, from the watch's Home screen, press the Power key, and then Tap Settings >> Connections. Swipe to the bottom of the screen, and then tap the switch next to Alerts.

To Adjust the vibration settings on your Samsung smartwatch follow the below steps:

From the watch's Home screen, press the Power key, and then navigate to and select Settings. Swipe to and tap Sound and vibration or Vibration, and then select your desired vibration settings.

As mentioned by Jűsťsïnğh, Try reset settings and check. Below are the steps for reset settings:

Open Settings >> General Management >>Reset >>Reset Settings >> Reset settings >> Review the info then tap Reset settings(If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern) >> To confirm, Tap Reset.

Note: Performing these steps resets all system settings (e.g. ringtones, sound settings, display settings, etc.) back to their default values. Personal data, such as downloaded apps and media (pictures, videos, music), aren't affected. However, the device automatically restarts to apply any changes.

Thanks, Jűsťsïnğh, for sharing the information.
