though i share this as i just found this feature out my self on how to adjust ur flashlight brightness pretty neat....

I think that's for older phones or at least older OS, as I don't have that in my S8+

I have that on my s8 .
Just press the word flashlight and not the picture of the light :)

Same goes for the S7--- just simply press the word 'torch' and it allows you the option to adjust the brightness of the flashlight!!

for the edge I use flashlight on quick tools where I can turn on/off and adjust brightness
