Trade in values

Curious, I was just playing around with the trade in values and s23ultra 512gb only gets $395! If I remember right, when a new phone is released these are much higher..why so low now? 

Can't recall if this is a samsung trend to offer more then a new phone is released?

Really!! That's insane.. I will buy if they sell it for $395 in a blink. A good refurbished S21 Ultra, 128 GB is currently listed at $349 in Best Buy. I bought an excellent 256 GB one for $500 in Best Buy and that too came with a camera defect. Returned it and waiting for replacement.Morethan that this is a three year old phone. New or open box are even more pricey more than $800. How come S23 Ultra an year old phone with 512 GB just have a value of $395? No doubt they sell it for more than $1200 after the trade in.

Yep you're right, during any new launch, they offer a trade-in bonus if you pre-order for a new model, then after the trade-in value drops dramatically. I got $1000 for my S23 Ultra when I traded it in for the S24 Ultra since I did it during the S24 Ultra pre-order launch.

Yea it really is. My S23 Ultra was the 512 gb model too.

Yea I think so. Sometimes they might higher trade in offers when the Z Fold 6 launches, maybe try again that time to see.
