What device do you have, and where are you trying to upload files, Google Drive, Dropbox etc?

Send the pdf to Samsung Cloud, Google Drive, Dropbox etc & share the link to the pdf to the website.

That's what I would do.

That sounds like the website only allows you to upload photos and videos.

You could take a screenshot of the pdf you want to upload, and upload it as a photo.

The website might be being security conscious and not allow all types of files to be uploaded?

Thank you for providing additional details regarding the issue you are facing on your Samsung S24 FE when attempting to upload a PDF file through Chrome. We understand how inconvenient it can be when the upload dialog only displays options for photos and videos instead of allowing access to documents.

To assist you further, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check File Picker Options

    • When the upload dialog appears, swipe sideways or scroll to see if the Documents or Files option is hidden beyond the initial view.

  2. Use “My Files” App

    • Open the My Files application directly, locate the PDF, and use the Share option to send it to Chrome if supported.

  3. Try Samsung Internet or Microsoft Edge

    • If the issue persists in Chrome, test the upload using Samsung Internet or Microsoft Edge, which may provide broader file picker support.

  4. Clear Cache and Data

    • Go to Settings > Apps > Chrome > Storage.

    • Clear cache and data, then restart the browser.

  5. Update Apps and System Software

    • Ensure Chrome, Samsung Internet, and your device software are updated to the latest versions, as updates often resolve compatibility issues.

  6. Restart Device

    • A simple restart can refresh background processes and correct temporary glitches.

If the problem continues after these steps, kindly share the specific website where the issue occurs so we can investigate further and provide tailored guidance.
