Just switched to the s25 recently. There's one issue that seems small but it's extremely annoying that I encountered: when I plug in my usb-c headphone, almost all of the button on the headphone functions as I expect such as click once to pause/play and hang up, volume up/down button, and double click to skip to next song.

The ONE function that doesn't work is triple click to go back. I tried everything from testing out another headphone (the second one is brand new and claims to be compatible with the s25), clear cache in settings->usb-c headest, and followed some guides on what to do in developer mode to fix this with no success.

I contacted samsung about this and they insisted that it's a compatibility issue and just use a samsung-made headset. I find it extremely ridiculous that it's a compatibility issue since I tested the new headset that claims to be compatible with the s25 on an iphone 15 pro and everything there worked fine. We all know that apple is notorious for making 3rd party products difficult to be compatible with iphones to make iphone users buy apple products. Also samsung only offers one wired headphone to buy and it's a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Does anyone know how to fix this annoying issue where the only function on the headset that doesn't work is the triple press to go to previous song.

P.S: I also use a wiredless earbud too so don't come at me for being a peasant. I have an issue with my ear getting moist inside when I wear headphones for too long and it can fall out. There are some situations where I cannot risk having my wireless earbuds falling out which is why I also need wired headphones. Also, every function on the earbuds works just fine

Hi jackyie,

We appreciate your detailed explanation and understand how frustrating this issue must be. Based on your description, it seems that most of the headset functions are working correctly except for the triple-click action to go to the previous track.

Test with Different Media Apps Some apps handle button controls differently. Try Samsung Music, YouTube Music, or VLC to see if the issue persists.

Since you have already tried multiple troubleshooting steps, but still the issue persists we recommend submitting a bug report via the Samsung Members app under Get Help → Error Reports so our software team can look into it.

We appreciate your feedback and will ensure it is shared with the relevant team. Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

Thank you.
