So I've set up my phone now using Samsung Goodlock to only use gestures. This includes the "back" button and "home" button, as well as "running apps" button being removed (no toolbar at bottom) and being replaced with gestures.

Here's how it looks:

Personally it took a small bit of getting used to, however with the "back" button being a gesture on the side of the phone now, I find it works incredibly with everything except when texting (having to gesture higher than the keyboard). Once gotten used to, It becomes quite fluent and smooth to transition through.

Ontop of that, im able to side scroll on the apps screen instead of scroll down while in Alphabetical order. Tons of customization however I do feel it needs alot of work. If the Spen had more features (like the ones removed on the S25Ultra) then this gesture fluidity would be much smoother as well

Hi MichaelAnthony90,

Thank you for sharing your experience with configuring gesture-based navigation using Samsung Good Lock. It's encouraging to hear that, despite an initial adjustment period, you’ve found the gesture controls to be fluid and effective across most applications.

We appreciate your detailed feedback regarding the usability of the side gesture for the "back" function, particularly in scenarios involving text input. Your observation highlights an important area for potential refinement in gesture sensitivity and placement.

Additionally, your comments on the horizontal app screen navigation and overall customization options are valuable. While these enhancements offer greater flexibility, we acknowledge your concern that further development is needed to optimize the user experienceβ€”especially in relation to S Pen functionality on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Your insights contribute meaningfully to ongoing discussions around usability and feature evolution.

There is a minimize button where the back space used to be, it's just hard to remember when you already adjusted to the side of the screen. User error to be fair

Thanks for sharing! Great to hear gestures are working smoothly once you got used to them. The side-scroll and S Pen points are interesting... definitely areas that could improve the experience. Your feedback is super helpful!
