why i can't find the emergency alert in the setting

I am trying to figure out the emergency alert is on or off in my s7 edge. but I can't find it.

I want to sure I can receive the emergency alert in case of danger.
well...I just want to take a look at it.
what bring me interested is the city near my city was on amber alert.(the child had been found.in live)
so I just want to take a look that how is it(emergency alert) looks like.

although I am in GTA. not Vancouver (earthquake danger?!)... b u t who knows what could be happen,right?

I get my alerts through the weather network as in the case of that 4 year old from the GTA area.
I don't think Samsung has it on your phone but I know you can download an app to get emergency alerts.....

apps? could u give me some examples? i know red Cross provide an app for natural disasters but not included nuclear and others.

As I said I use the weather app it gives amber alerts plus alot of other things... Maybe use a local news channel like city news or global...

Hi @westoeast. This setting is available within the Messaging app under > More > Settings > More Settings > Cell Broadcast: On (all channels).
