my s22 won't charge and yet my charger still works eith my wife's s21

USB charging? Try a wireless charger. I had a Note 10 that stopped charging after it sat for a while. It wouldn't charge either way. Turns out some capacitor on the main board blew. I had to buy a new main board.

Also you can try to connect the phone to a PC computer with USB and see if it shows up.

Open the Samsung Members app & Click on Support > Phone Diagnostics & run the Diagnostics for USB Charging Port. See if you get any error messages

Might need to try "Android System Repair" app or System Factory Reset . And you may need to get it professionaly fixed by a mobile repair shop .

If your Samsung Galaxy S22 won't charge but the charger works with another phone, the issue might lie with your device rather than the charger.

Check charging port. Inspect for debris or damage: Use a flashlight to look inside the charging port. Dust, lint, or dirt can block the connection. Please try the below troubleshooting steps and identify the problem:

If you see debris, use a soft cloth or dry toothbrush to gently clean the port.

Try charging your phone via USB on a computer to see if it responds. 

Restart your device sometimes, software glitches can cause charging problems. Once it powers back on, try charging again.

Boot into Safe Mode: Third-party apps can sometimes interfere with charging.

Turn off the phone. Hold the Power button until the Samsung logo appears, then release it and hold the Volume Down button until the phone fully boots. "Safe mode" will appear in the bottom-left corner. Try charging. If it works, a third-party app may be causing the issue.

Open the Samsung members app to run the diagnostics and see if you get any error message for USB Charging Port.
