Wifi 7

Our new home wifi is wifi 7 enabled but my s24 ultra detecting the wifi 7 signal but only connects to wifi 6 in Canada.

Well I don't know, S24 ultra is wifi 7 compatible, then why doesn't it connect to one

Not sure why the S24s don't connect as Wifi 7 because mine doesn't either so there must be something not completely enabled in their setup.

I have a Tab S9 Ultra that does connect as Wifi 7 which is an older device so the phones should you would think

Yeah if it can detect wifi 7 and is coming with a wifi 7 chip why is it not connecting🤷

Maybe try enabling the connectivity labs in WiFi settings and see if there's information there that can help.

Please try the possible steps and see if they might help.

Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi, tap on your Wi-Fi network, and ensure it’s not limited to Wi-Fi 6 or a lower mode.

Forget the network and reconnect to see if it negotiates a Wi-Fi 7 connection.

Check your router's management interface to ensure that Wi-Fi 7 features are enabled.
