I've recently migrated from a oneplus 7 pro to the S23 ultra. In the few weeks I've had this phone, I have never experienced wifi connectivity issues like this. At first, I thought it was my router or internet service. Went through all the possible troubleshooting steps. None of it worked. I have max wifi bars and the connectivity speed shows over 400mbps consistently. Luckily I still have my old phone. To my surprise, the wifi is working perfectly.

I've read online that it may be a software or hardware issue. Whatever the case, it's an inexcusable issue to have after purchasing a $2000 phone in 2023.

If anyone else knows a solution or is experiencing the same issue, use this post to share your experience, or as a way to get some frustration out. Samsung needs to fix this immediately.

Did you try Resetting your Network Settings?

I have. From what I've read online, people have been experiencing connectivity issues since updating to 5.1. It's been a strange experience since my previous phone had no issues for 3+ years

it is known issue. Many are facing this issue since last year. Samsung failed to address it through software update. only solution is to disable wifi6 in router.

What kind of connectivity issues you are experienced? Like...connected, but no internet? Wi-Fi keeps dropping? Or slow speed?

To be honest, it's been a mixed bag of all those situations lol. But it has been mainly wifi dropping and slow speeds.

I am using S23 Ultra as well. But works perfectly. I am using Linksys Velop system. WiFi still using WPA/WPA2 personal. All good so far. But I was having issues when using WPA3.

Maybe try changing the MAC address type to Phone MAC and see if it gets better. Some users found this work for them. To do this:

Go to Settings -> Connections -> Wi-Fi -> Click gear icon far right on your SSID -> Click view more at middle -> MAC address type

Change to Phone MAC.

Monitor for a day and see if the situation get improve or not.

I am in mixed environment. Which means I have Wi-Fi 5 & 6 APs around my home. Sometimes 5 and sometimes 6. But never experience Wi-Fi problem with any Samsung flag ship phones.

Seriously, my mother-in-law iPhone always dropping Wi-Fi because of private address in iOS.

I have the S23 and am having issues with certain apps not working on wifi but are fine on mobile data. I've factory reset, cleaned the partition etc nothing has fixed it. I've had the phone for 30 days
