Have a look here > https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/working-gcam-for-snapdragon-w-telephoto.3908347/

I'm still using a previous version of Gcam on my S20 Ultra, it's *mostly* working, but Samsung's own cameras are almost certainly going to be better.

Yeah, the selfie camera doesn't work on the version I'm using either, but I almost never use it anyway.

XDA is a good resource for a number of apps, and there's some extremely talented people there.

Many apps are free on XDA, without annoying Ads & are actually developed, unlike the ju*nk on the Galaxy Store.

just wondering if you have any good suggestions for selfie camera because samsung's camera still looks terrible to me because of the smoothing effect

Unfortunately I don't, but searching on XDA should give you a better idea.

Like I said, I don't really use the selfie camera at all.

Hi, I suggest you please try HDR mode to take photos with rich colours and reproduce details even in bright and dark areas. Please also make sure the beauty mode is turned off.

yes I have tried everything, the samsung camera is just really bad because of the uncontrollable smoothing filter it's putting, if you have tried the gcam on samsung you can see how good it really is compared to samsung's

Hi, Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Did you try resetting the camera settings. If not, I suggest you please try it by opening the Camera application and tap on the gear icon. In the Camera settings, please scroll down until you find "Reset settings" and tap on Reset. Please try this and check if the issue got resolved.
