Wrong trade in information?

So I finally received my S24U order trade in email almost 3 months after delivery and noticed the amount was not the full promotion but only $395 with $0 promotion. Anyone else have this? Had to argue with them it wasn't my fault it took them this long to send the email, not my problem. Anyways now they will apparently have to issue me a NEW trade in email and who knows how long that will take.

I tell you, this is the absolute last time I order with Samsung directly. What a nightmare.

Edit: actually it was the serial number they had as my trade in. It was NOT the same as when I placed the order (it was showing a random U1 USA unlocked model???). Be careful and read over the entire trade in sheet before you submit.

Yes I have called them and they are going to re issue a new trade in email. But I shouldn't have had to deal with any of this in the first place. Why did it take them three months to generate??

I just received my trade in email as well and just as you I have $0 promo. I guess I will have to reach out as you did. Really disappointing to have to spend more time and hoping I don't have to "argue".

Check the serial number in the email and verify its the correct one for the device you are trading in as well... Mine was completely wrong

Same problem happened with me where it showed $395 even though I was supposed to get $1000. I chatted with Samsung support and they reassured me that the original trade-in value would be honoured. When I tried to print the actual return label, the website value showed $1000. Maybe contact Samsung support via chat and get a reference number for the chat at the same time just to be safe.

Yea your issue is different than mine, but still wanted to comment for others who may have also received the same $395 email where everything else matched ; ) Good luck with the trade-in, hope I don't become one of the assurant horror stories.

Yeah the website does show original trade in value as $1000 but I'm wary about sending it and them not honoring it. Also the serial number thing threw me off. Just not a great experience overall unfortunately
