Keyboard keeps changing to default.

After the recent update, my keyboard keeps changing to the default even when I have a custom theme installed. It gets to the point where I have to restart my phone, but it still reverts to the default keyboard every time. I've tried everything, including resetting the keyboard, restarting the phone, and changing the theme, but nothing seems to work. Please help me.

My phone is a Galaxy Z Flip 4, if that helps. Everything else works fine, except for this persistent keyboard issue.

Update: no changes still, even after update :(

I understand, I understand. 😭 I've given in to my disdain for the plain gray keyboard, but I'll continue to mourn the loss of my Halloween-themed keyboard with pumpkins and all. 😭😭 I may never forgive Samsung for this.

hey, I figured out that on my phone at least, the change happens if and only if I close the phone. I.e. the custom theme stays until I close the phone. Which is inconvenient on a flip phone. Still, it is somewhat comforting to know exactly when it will happen. To change it back I just switch to a different keyboard app and then back to Samsung Keyboard.
