Galaxy Z* After updating, you will not be able to downgrade to the old software because of updates to the security policy.

Galaxy ZDo you mean having to swipe down on the right side and left side vs just swiping down anywhere on the screen like before? If yea, you can search on YouTube how to change the swipe down system.

Galaxy ZYou now have the option to assign the side button to power functions instead of Gemini. Furthermore, you can configure the swipe-down gesture to display items either separately or collectively. You also have the flexibility to enable this functionality regardless of the swipe's starting point on the screen. Are there any particular features or settings from the previous version that you would like to revert to?

Galaxy ZHi Sabrina780,
We hear you updates can sometimes feel like a step back when they change the experience you’ve grown used to. While rolling back to a previous software version isn’t officially supported on Samsung devices, there are ways to adjust the new setup to feel more familiar.
As mentioned by SnowCat19, with the latest update you can now:
-
Reassign the Side button to power functions instead of launching Gemini
-
Customize the swipe-down gesture to show quick settings and notifications either together or separately
-
Enable swipe-down from anywhere on the Home screen
If there are any specific features or settings from the previous version you’d like to bring back, feel free to let us know — we’re happy to help you personalize your experience!
