What is the offer for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 users?
Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 users who purchased and activated their device between September 1 and December 31, 2022 can now use the Secure Wi-Fi feature free of charge for the next 6 months.
Secure Wi-Fi 6-month free trial is only available to new customers who are Secure Wi-Fi first time users that do not have a current Secure Wi-Fi subscription.
If you have already enabled Secure Wi-Fi, follow the method below to start your 6-month free trial. - Run the Secure Wi-Fi app > Protection plan > Start free trial > Pop-up (details on starting the free trial and automatic termination after 6 months) > Free trial start
When do I use Secure Wi-Fi?
Secure Wi-Fi is a service that protects personal information and data through encryption technology when connecting to Wi-Fi. It is not a Wi-Fi service.
You may connect to public Wi-Fi in various places including airports, cafes, hotels, and other places you visit.
When you connect to public Wi-Fi, you may be concerned about your personal information being hacked or leaked. Therefore, keeping your information secure is important.
How to run Secure Wi-Fi
Unlocked: Settings > Biometrics and security > Secure Wi-Fi
Carrier: Search “Secure Wi-Fi” in the Galaxy Store and download
* Secure Wi-Fi does not collect, utilize, or monitor your encrypted data.
What kind of features does Secure Wi-Fi have?
Status of network protection check and ON/OFF feature
Check the current status of network protection and turn the feature on/off with the ON/OFF button.
Auto protect Wi-Fi
When you enable “Auto protect Wi-Fi”, the feature determines the level of security of the Wi-Fi you are connected to..
If it determines that the Wi-Fi you are using is unsecure or if you’re in a public place, the Wi-Fi connection is automatically protected.
Enhanced privacy protection
With the enhanced privacy protection feature, no third party can view or track the sites you’ve visited or details of services you’ve accessed.
Enable the enhanced privacy feature by following the path below.
In addition, Secure Wi-Fi provides a variety of additional features such as Protection activity, Trusted Wi-Fi networks and Protected apps etc. to meet the different needs of users.
Is Secure Wi-Fi a paid service?
For Galaxy devices with Android version 12 or higher, 1GB of protection is provided for free every month. By purchasing the paid service for Secure Wi-Fi, users have access to unlimited protection and can use the additional features described above.
The Secure Wi-Fi 6-month free trial offer also offers unlimited protection for the duration of the trial period.
* The Secure Wi-Fi service may not be available for some models.

The Secure Wi-Fi 6-month free trial must be initiated by December 31, 2022 at 11:59pm GMT At the end of the 6-month free trial period, you will be converted to the basic limited Secure Wi-Fi plan for free unless you choose to sign up for the paid Secure Wi-Fi subscription plan. You can cancel your Secure Wi-Fi 6-month free trial at any time no charge before the trial is over. Samsung Account is required for the Secure Wi-Fi 6-month free trial.
