Samsung Fold 4 Hinge issue

Is anybody else having an issue where the fold phone wont open fully? 

I checked on the internet and so far found the issue is due to Hinge. Did anyone have similar experience? Was there any solution provided for anyone from Samsung Canada?

I have been with Samsung since 2018 and this fold phone has been my worst experience so far.

The folds are still super new, and samsungs the only company doing them half decent. I unfortunately don't have the answer. But would suggest one of their ultra series over a flip/fold if you want tobget the most out of it and not just have the niche fold option :)

I agree the experience with the fold phone has been pretty bad.

Give it a couple years still then jump back over to a fold and I'm sure it'll be great!

I had my fold 4 for almost a year now, I worked in construction field my operate perfect. Samsung fold 4 finest quality

If it's not opening all the way it's likely an obstruction like pocket lint or dirt or sand. Perhaps a can of air duster in the hinge area?

Tried it, doesnt make a difference to it.

Apperantly fold 4 has brush that keeps dirt from hinge. The brush can deteriorate and get stuck inside where it blocks opening properly.
I would contact Samsung and see if they will repair it free

I have the flip 4 and it just started not too fully open. It's been like this for a month. Phone is just over a year old. My first Samsung phone and it is mint condition. Went to Samsung Experience store in canada to have it repaired but they ask for 525 plus tax. I would not recommend to buy a foldable phone. So disappointed 😞 I will not repair it because. The price for the repair is like theft

😔 agree with you. Fold phones are not at all recommended
