My current phone (Galaxy Z Fold 6) still not able to charge through cable since update (UI 7.0, Android version 15) over a month ago. Any idea when this will be fixed?

I have tried various suggestions and nothing apart from wireless charging but that is a slow charge.

We're really sorry to hear you're still facing this issue with your Galaxy Z Fold6 following the One UI 7.0 / Android 15 update.

Just to better understand the situation:

  • Was your device charging normally via cable before the update?

  • Have you tried using a different USB-C cable and adapter (preferably original Samsung ones)?

  • When you plug in the cable, do you see any charging indicators like a lightning bolt icon, charging sound, or vibration?

This will help us narrow down whether the issue is related to the update or something else.

You might want to run the Diagnostics for the USB Charging Port. It sounds like that might be the issue? 

Open the Samsung Members app & Click on Support & Diagnostics.

See if you get any error messages?

If you do, then you should probably visit a Samsung Service Centre to get it checked out by a tech.
