So now the power button is the AI button and the screenshot macro brings up the power menu.

Do you even THINK this through or are you obligated to release new features? It feels like you hit creative bedrock years ago.

Hi Winstontaneous,

Thank you for your honest feedback. We understand your frustration, especially when familiar functions are changed unexpectedly after an update. With One UI 7, the Side Key defaults may have changed including how it behaves with screenshot gestures and launching Samsung’s AI features.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. We will definitely bring this to our team and hopefully it will be addressed in future updates.

You can change this by going to settings, advanced features, side button

Yes, but now Gemini isn't a gesture. So I'll just not have easy access to it.

So keep the AI button, use palm swipe for screenshot (Alternatively, via goodlock, set up either double (or triple) tap rear device for screenshot).

Go to settings, go to Advanced, Side key, and then change it from Assistant to Power off menu. Takes like 10 seconds. Though I do agree it is annoying to have it forced on you after a big update. Make a separate button for AI, leave the power button alone!

But now Gemini isn't a swipe up from the lower corner so I won't have easy access to it anymore.

Same exact thing happened with the last big UI update. We had gestures at the bottom of the screen (where button would be). Back, home, and open apps window were all easy gestures. Then they changed it to the slop we had until today.

I just want my phone to do what it did when I first bought it until I buy my next phone.
