It essentially destroyed my phone like what the f guys?? I haven't even had the update for 10 minutes and I'm struggling to use my phone like a toddler, I'm 26 and went to school for computer engineering!! What ON EARTH did you guys do??

Splitting the notification center and the quick access for settings into two seperate movements, and now I can't accomplish anything with one hand??? I'm struggling to find access to anything!

Additionally, the app search is changed??? Why push the search menu down to the keyboard?? I understand you wish to make it closer and easier to access, but like now it's just clunky and gets in the way of me scrolling looking for things.

Please tell me how to revert these changes, this is abysmal. Either that, or please tell me how to revert back my update. I will wait until One UI 8.0.

I dont think it'll matter to you much after some reps.

I set mine up with settings pulling from the left side, because I already use notification pull down from anywhere in the screen.

Watch some video tutorials. You can flip the split, and you can also control the split zone area. Eg. Change it from 50/50 to 90/10 if you like.

Regarding search, its where it should be, that is, closer to your thumbs.

With the new folder options, you can cram a lot of one touch hits for most used app. When you need to search a seldom app, you just flip up and then search bar is where your thumbs and keyboard is.

As an example, with the new one touch folder layout, I have quick access to 31 apps one touch. Im searching much less.

Check out tutorials because there's a lot of good things. 1748622096480.jpg

Hi xen,

We truly understand how frustrating it can be when an update impacts your daily phone usage — especially when you're accustomed to a certain workflow. We hear your feedback loud and clear and appreciate you sharing your experience.

Unfortunately, once a major software update is installed, you can’t roll back to a previous version through standard settings. Manual downgrading is not officially supported and can pose risks to your device.

In the meantime, you can try the helpful workaround provided by defconphil: Swipe down twice from the right side of the screen → Tap the pencil (edit) icon → Tap “Panel settings” → Select “View as: Together”

This should bring back the unified view for notifications and quick settings, making one-handed use much easier again.

Thank you, defconphil, for sharing that solution with the community!

The photos are over expose, the camera doesn't process light correctly. It was the best camera before that updated.
