I am not an APK person..but this is something I would like to do. Can someone plz verify if this link is safe and accurate?

I would never download any apks, from anywhere other than apk mirror.

apk mirror is a very trusted site. Most others are sketchy to say the least.

First clue is that many of the other sites have pirated versions of paid apps, which I would never use for a couple of reasons.. Stealing from Devs & likely infected with spyware etc. 😉 

apk mirror is run by Android Police, and is the "go to" site for millions of people and Devs.

Why get apk from other source that the official ?

Am not an android expert and forgot about the official source. I have downloaded maybe 2 apks my entire life! So am excused lol

It's just a question because google give acces to all her apk directly on your phone and I'm think that is the best trusted source for your apk.

The "official" Google source is the Play Store, but it only ever has one version of it's apps available to download. apk mirror will often have multiple versions of the same app, and often versions that are not available on the Play Store. 

As previously stated, apk mirror is run by Android Police, and is exceptionally well trusted. It never hosts "cracked" or "ha*cked" apps, and are all free of any spyware etc.
