As some of you may remember, I had stupidity damaged my UN58NU7100 TV's screen. Anyway I've bit the bullet and got a new outfit from MDG.ca. The new system is a UN50CU7000FXZC Smart TV, with a Q-Series Soundbar HW-Q800C and Woofer. Until after the arrival & unboxing, that I realized that the TV Is a CU7000 4K & the Soundbar is a Q800C. I thought I'd ordered both as 8 series units but after close checking, I found that I got exactly what I ordered. I wanted to down size the TV but wasn't able to get a 50"er for anywhere in a price range I wanted.
My question to you all is are these 2 systems compatible with one another? And is my 9500S/ZC Rear Speaker Kit compatible with the Soundbar?.
Just broke my pattern of forever in an attempt to delete Microsoft from my life!
I just bought what is rated as the top of the laptops. An Acer Chromebook | Large 17.3” Full HD IPS Screen Intel N4500 CPU | 8G RAM 128G EMMC Storage | Numeric keypad (1 YR Manufacturer Warranty), now I've got to find me a Chromebooks for Dummies.🤭😅😂🤣. Can't believe with all my research, that this probably THE MOST complicated system since IBM. Oh well I'm tough! I learned most all that know by trial and error so with YouTube, Google Community & further studying. I should have a great computer. Thanks so very much for listening to me banter. Th Chromebook is just an info topic the compatibility of my new Samsung Q700A & Q800A units is my top need @ this time. Cheers Oldbroad Angela. 🇨🇦

OthersHi Angela,
I hope you bought an extended warranty. According to the repair shop, the 7000 series panels are prone to failure. My UN58TU7000FXZC (which I really liked) had two LED panels fail and I bought it in June 2021!

thanks for the advice. as a matter of fact I did get 3yrs extended warranty. just finished the setup except for the wifi. once again I forgot the password. Just have to contact Shaw online and request a password reset. This was the easiest setup on history! It took only 30 minutes or less to set up TV,Soundbar and Woofer. It was al plug and play.
only wish I could get the Chromebook completely setup, but i've found a bunch of tutorials on YouTube. most of which are done by Acer. Again Paul thanks. Have great day!
