Because there was an update and you will likely have to delete the mail account and redo it but, since the update, all your received emails get deleted after 2 days.

Hi, if you are unable to send or receive emails, and there are no connection errors, there may be a simple solution.

You may need to add or remove the email account, or check your internet connection.

Check to see if you are connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile data network on your phone. To do this, open an internet browser to see if the internet loads. If it does not load, try connecting to an available network, and then try sending an email again.

Removing and re-adding your email account can help resolve minor issues. To do this, navigate to and openSettings. Tap Accounts and backup, and then tap Manage accounts.

Next, tap on the email account you'd like to remove. Tap Remove account. To confirm, tap Remove account a second time. Add the email account again, and then try to send another email.
