Hello guys.
I would like to know how can I retrive the messages I sent to the trash.
The trash is set to delete the messages there older than 30 days.
Does anyone know how can I retrive the messages deleted by the trash?

I think the only way is restore from backup. If you do not have backup, there is no way to restore the message.

Hi AliceFrittoli,

The Recycle Bin in the Messages app will keep deleted messages for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted.

As said by Tallman if you have back up Samsung Cloud can be used to recover your messages. Navigate to and open Settings, then tap Accounts and backup, and then tap Restore data under Samsung Cloud. Select your desired device, then select Messages, and then tap RestoreTap Done when it's finished.

Thank you Tallman.

If one Messages app does NOT have the delete after 30 days would it have access to the same precious database and would load deleted messages fron the other?!

Aka Google vs Samsung?
Try disabling the 30 days purge then close current messages app. Then launch the other see if that gives you anything? Just a wild thought but curious.

I stand by restore from backup and fully disabling that purge after 30 days going forward.
