Ever since my S20 Plus 5G took the One UI 5.0 and 5.1 updates I have been unable to use my phone. I am stuck in Emergency Calls Only, and can not connect to my provider's network.
I've done all the trouble shooting (airplane mode on and off, reset networks, cleared cache partition, got a new SIM and even switched providers believing it was my provider, tried manually selecting provider, etc) but nothing has resolved the issue.
I've searched the internet and discovered that many people are having this same issue with One UI updates 5.0 and 5.1. Is Samsung going to fix this, and if so when? Because I am wasting money paying for cell service I can not use.

There is nothing to fix.

There's no connection issues whatsoever on my S20 Ultra One UI V5.0 or One UI V5.1.

Either visit a Samsung Service Centre to get it checked out by a tech or Backup your device with Smart Switch & Factory Reset.

Yes there definitely are connection issues, as well as battery draining issues. Look it up. Just because you don't have the problem doesn't mean many others don't.

Some users, may have issues.

I haven't seen anyone else here on Samsung Members post about it, and Searching revealed sporadic issues for SOME people.

I certainly don't see any indication of a common, or widespread problem with the S20 series connectivity.

Visit a Samsung Service Centre to get your device checked out by a tech.

Then you're not searching properly, because I found hundreds of people with the same issue, and more. I'm not paying Samsung to resolve an issue their operating system caused.

Post links to your results..

Factory Reset your device, visit a Samsung Service Centre, but I haven't seen anyone else here on Samsung Members, or in any of the Android tech groups that I am involved with.

Like I said, you're not doing proper searches, and I'm not paying Samsung to fix a problem they caused.

I asked you to post the links to your "proper" searches.

A Factory Reset is free.

If there was an actual issue with the S20 series & connectivity, it would be found, even with improper searches.

Good luck.

Do your own searching, I've already done mine. Google is your friend, search for "roll back galaxy s20 plus 5g from one ui 5.1 to 5.0" or "S20 Plus 5G One UI 5.1 network issues.
A factory reset is free, but didn't fix the issue. You keep telling me to go to a Samsung service center, and that's NOT free!!

Whatever.. obviously whatever searches you did, don't backup your claims.

Why would I waste my time searching for a non existent issue..

Like I said, good luck.
