hi,

I would like clarification if the OneDrive "Camera backup" sync option, selected on the OneDrive app, only allows you to sync jpeg image files and nothing else.

On my Tab S9, I selected certain folders to backup under "Back up device folders".  After it initially not working, the folders from my Tab S9 began to appear on my OneDrive, but not all their contents were backed up.  I noticed only jpeg files were backed up, and other non-jpeg files such as pdfs or pngs were not.

Is this normal behaviour, or is there a work around?

If this is the way OneDrive works, is there a recommendation for an alternative auto-sync cloud storage?  For instance, researching Google Drives seems to indicate that auto-sync is an option.

thx,

cvx

Open OneDrive & Files > Search for "pdf" and they should be there.

My pdf files are backed up to OneDrive.

Hi cvx,

PDF files can be backed up to OneDrive, but they may not appear under the Camera backup or Photos section. Instead, they are typically stored in the corresponding folder where the file originated like "Documents," "Downloads," or a specific synced folder and can be located using the search function in the OneDrive app.

Please try the search via the Files app by searching for "pdf" to verify their presence.

Thank RedDogRabbit for your helpful insight!
