Hi everyone,
I have a question that I cant seem to find an answer to. I used to have the Chat features enabled on Samsung Messages when I was with Fido. Then it was still there even after I no longer had Service with them. I have recently signed up with Koodo but don't see them on Samsung Messages, only with Google messages. Koodo offers it(they call it Next-Gen Messaging) but it's not available. Would anyone know what the issue could be?

Thanks @Halston. Are you suggesting I take out my SIM before I take those steps that @Sking90 suggested?

Hi AmeriCanuck,
No, you need to keep the SIM card in the phone but we suggest you to backup your phone data in a computer using the smart switch software otherwise it will erase the data as mentioned by Sking90.
You need to download the smart switch software on your computer and then follow the steps from the below link to back up the data.
Here is the link: https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-how-to-back-up-your-devi...

Well, I don't have a computer to do that with. I'll just do a backup to my Samsung Account.
