OthersI have had my Samsung gas range since August 2020. After the first self clean I noticed the bottom of my oven had crevices. I used the self clean mode yesterday because I thought the bottom of my oven was dirty. After the self clean I now have cracks, chipping and rust. I hope extended warranty covers this but who to say it won’t happen again!

OthersI contacted Samsung for the same issue and they accused me of causing the issue to happen. I have never used the self clean cycle and barely use the oven over anything over 400°. They told me they would have to charge me to get a repair specialist to come look at it. It seems to be a very common issue and they need to do something about it. I was told it was no longer safe to use my oven.

Others
Our Samsung stove oven (purchased 03/2022) has started chipping, contacted Samsung via chat, they say it’s a cosmetic issue so not covered. The enamal in the oven had some swirls of raised enamal, I didn’t think it was an issue so did not complain. Now it’s breaking and showing metal underneath, spoke to Samsung on the phone he says looks like someone damaged it or dropped something in it and Customer damage is not covered.
anyone for a Class Action I’m in!

OthersYes I’m livid!! I have tenants in my house and my appliances are less than 3 years old. The oven started peeling and I tried con the service center to come out to fix. They stood me up for 2 weeks and never showed and nothing but excuses. I had to purchase a new stove because they have children!!!! I’m so annoyed and disappointed.

OthersI have the same issue, Canada) tried to discuss with them. First it was … it’s cosmetic so not covered, then they say I misused it, dropped something, or dragged something across it. This is totally disgusting, I am looking at trying to start a class action as this obviously is a well known, well reported issue that they are aware of, it’s also a great health hazard to have enamal chipping off and landing in food.

OthersI am having the same problem. Just contacted them today and was told the same as everybody else not covered under warranty. However, my extended warranty is with a third-party. Who’s technician told me that this was a manufacturer defect. When they pushed my case through Samsung closed the case, and said they no longer have the parts to fix this problem. So I contacted Samsung directly today and I got the same run around as all of you again. This is shameful. Not sure what to do here. Did you buy a new stove? Have you continued using the stove? Please advise.
