Smarttags notification when left behind

So I'm trying to set up a few smarttags that I've purchased from Samsung. While in the smartthings find app, I am trying to enable the option to notify me when it is left behind and I am greeted with the message that I can't receive notifications for more than 2 tags on this phone...

Makes no sense to me. The purpose of buying the tags is exactly to track your precious belongings and if you can't be notified when it is left behind, what's the point?

Why is there this limitation? Is it the tags? Or is it my phone (z Fold 4)? I don't get it.

Anyone else have multiple tags and have this issue.

cdev: The moderator, Axton, stated "...You can register up to 200 SmartTags to SmartThings application with one Samsung mobile phone ..." It appears there is a "Left Behind" notification limit for two SmartTags, but again you can connect up to 200 SmartTags. Thus, use the app for finding your items. In my reading there was a shop owner having 150 or more SmartTags connected to his equipment. He stated they all worked and using the phone app he could see all his SmartTags.

The problem is not about being unable to register the SmartTags. It's about being unable to get Bluetooth notifications when leaving any of the SmartTags 400+ ft away from the phone.

I bought 4 SmartTag2 which registered fine on SmartThings app; but only 2 of them are allowed to notify me when I leave them behind.

I don't own any Apple device and I don't know how many airtags can send out-of-range notifications; but I heard that Tile tag agent said that the issue is a Bluetooth limitation and not on their end. I don't believe that; but if it's true, then Apple devices probably have the same limitation as well.

Same here. I have 6 tags but only 2 can notify when left behind , which is reallly stupid. It defeats its purpose . When you forget the wallet or keys somewhere it should imediatly notify . Otherwise when you realize it may be way too late.

Still same here. I have 3 tags (SmartTag+, 2x StarTag2)  but only 2 can notify when left behind... I was going to buy another one but probably not worth it yet...

Is there an option to create a routine such that if my smart tag is left behind, my phone rings?
