The s22 ultra needs more than just security updates. There's a stability and lag issue with the new software

Did you boot into recovery mode and wipe the cache after installing the update?

I wiped the cache partition and did a factory reset before all this. I'm going to try and do the partition wipe again. The update seems to have addressed some of the issues. I'm beginning to suspect sim card failure. I've got some dropped calls and network issues. Not sure it ties into this issue but I'll look into replacing it anyways (it's 6yrs old)
