tray for front load washer

We have a washer and dryer and the pods stopped dissolving in the wash so we purchased some liquid to try. Apparently according to our manual there should be a tray that fits into the compartment but we never received it. I just looked online and there are many people asking the same question. Did you all have to go out and buy the piece? Seems to me that paying a few thousand dollars for the machines should include the detergent liquid tray!

The liquid soap tray is standard equipment coming with your washer. You may have issue with the soap compartment flushing system. Install liquid soap tray won't help if it is the case. Try to check if any flushing action by peeking into the tray (open it about 2 inches) at the beginning stage of washing. It needs good volume of water to dissolve / flush down the soap. Please see attached pictures for soap tray installed and outside the washer.
