Update regarding Galaxy S22 and Tab S8 shipment delays

We are aware that many customers are experiencing shipment delays for specific models, and we wish to clear up some confusion regarding this.


Demand for the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8 series of devices have reached a record high. Due to this, our retailers are having difficulty keeping up with orders. We are currently awaiting another shipment of devices from our manufacturers.


Your feedback is valuable to us. Our customer service team is working hard to ensure that every order is fulfilled as quickly as possible. All pre-order gifts and promotional items are guaranteed and will be delivered along with the devices as soon as inventory is made available.

I m just waiting for clock to hit 12pm on Monday afternoon and then I m gonna call Samsung and cancel order. I went to Freedom store near me to kill time the other day and to see what offers I can get, The guy told he has s22 ultra in store and could hand it over right then. This is a joke.

The customer care other day on call told me that shipping request has been sent and phone should be here at earliest, no dates though. I hope refund takes shorter than this fiasco.

Same here. They said the same thing to me yesterday that my order was in "Shipment Requested" status. when I reached to them today again they're saying it might take 3-4 weeks from shipping date. Now I don't know what's happening with them at all. They absolutely screwed up travel plan. No compensation, no proper information about the delivery. Is it happening only in Canada? coz I see many people in US are getting their devices before the promised date.

Ordered S22 Ultra Red on Feb 10th. Order is still saying Delivery on March 2. Like everyone else I think Samsung should have handled pre-orders differently. Once they were aware of stock getting low they should have sent red flags at that time and not taken our money and feed us broken promises. The CS reps need to be informed on what is going on and not feed us with canned messages. I was informed yesterday that my phone would still be 4 to 5 weeks from March 1 and my order is sitting at "on its way". The device gets shipped to a warehouse and then dispatched to a courier. I too watched the unpacking event but could walk into a store today and pick up a phone. Looking closer the custom colors we have waited so long for are really just black devices with a custom back. Looks bad for you Samsung. Double shame.

Yeah, mine has been at on it's way status for over a week, was supposed to get it on the 5th of march according to website, chat CS basically tells me you will get tracking when it ships that all I can get from them, spoke to them 4 times now. Beyond frustrated

Exactly the same baked corporate response I got from the CS yesterday march 14th. Why put the order status" on the way" when in fact it's not?? . This just aggravate customers even more and leave the poor CS agents to deal with the shi*load of complaints and customers wrath caused by Samsung Corp greed. I hope Samsung will offer us all a real compensation for this!?!

I hope so to, mine still says processing and on the way since the 5th of march which was also my expected delivery date. Never got any emails since I placed my preorder about delays or pushed back shipping date or anything but I hear other people getting these emails.

Same date for me!? Ordered feb 12th the 256gig. Sky blue. No email aside from the order confirmation with delivery date of march 5th.

Shame on Samsung!!! I am deeply disappointed in how their pre-ordered process has been handled. It's bad enough that our Note 9 phones are not receiving calls, which prompted me to order new phones, of which I received one of the two. My last conversation with customer service on Friday March 11th, (pre-ordered Feb 19th) is that the phone should be delivered between Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. Let's see what happens.... I had a s8+ in my cart, but deleted it, because I cannot trust their delivery system. I ordered it from Best buy, and received it the very next day. Samsung should feel lucky that members have not yet made this public to the media!
