As the end of year is coming, we're full steam ahead into the holiday season! I'm looking forward to family time spent eating good food and playing corny yet fun games:) Every year I look forward to December. So on that note, my question for you guys is this:

What is your favorite dish on the holiday dinner table - who prepares it, and what goes into it that makes it delicious?

My mom used to make your traditional breakfast on Christmas morning - eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles - every Christmas morning I would wake up to that smell and would know that it's Christmas day.

Just thinking about it now makes me happy:)

Coming from an African Indian background, we did not always celebrate Christmas, but we do enjoy spending lots of time with the family over the holidays. One of my favorite dishes my mom always prepares for us during the holidays is a traditional Indian breakfast made of eggs, and bananas. Made with brown sugar and butter, it is almost like having dessert for breakfast. I will definitely attach a picture this year when she makes it ❤️

It’s really hard to pick just one but my favourite would have to be the Turkey, roasted and carved by my dad, which is always takes the centre stage. Coming from an Asian heritage, roast Turkeys are a rarity in our home which makes it all the more special. Also a special shoutout to those Pilsbury Christmas cookies!! It’s not The Holidays without them

My favorite dishes include turkey recipe for  thanksgiving , stuffing, and mashed potatoes. I used to go back and forth for Christmas dinner every year between my family's house and a relative's who live here in Calgary. This is a tradition we have every year.
