Which messages app do you prefer?

Hey everyone. Curious here - what messages app do you prefer? The original Messages or the Google Messages that comes predownloaded on phones now too?

I personally use FaceBook Messenger only and never encountered any problems. I don't use Google as my search engine....I use Duckduckgo only .... it doesn't track you....Google knows too much about you!!!

What I would like to know fr anyone knows how do I take photos off a Samsung ph and load them to a jump stick?? TIA.....BlondieGirl

You realize that Mark Zuckerberg admitted to Congress in the US, that Facebook / Meta actually READS your encrypted Facebook Messenger messages? Under the guise of "protecting" people from harassment etc??

I enjoy using both. If one the apps is out of service, I have one available to use which still allows me to send messages to my friends without any issues.

Please explain, how could one of the apps be, "out of service"? 

Not to mention that Samsung is almost certainly discontinued development for Samsung Messages. Globally, Google Messages RCS has exceeded One Billion users.

@RedDogRabbit, What I really should have said was that if by chance one of the apps were temporarily out of service for maintenance or upgrade purposes, then there would be one available for use.

Neither Samsung Messages, or Google Messages, are ever unavailable for "maintenance".

If there is an update to either app, I'm pretty sure that people could wait the few seconds to update the app..pretty sure that you can still use either app, even when there's an update, only exception would be while the app is actually in the few second process of updating.
