Didn't realize this was on the Fold4 until recently so I decided to do a quick test. Well, it's a minimum 4 exposure so not a quick as that sounded. In any case, for a picture taken within city limits and no advanced planning, I was surprised by the results. Ican only imagine the images the S22 and S23 Ultra users could get. I played around with the RAW version a bit, and also made a copy using their Enhancer tool, but tell me what you think.

I tried astrophotography mode on my S22 Ultra. Within city limits, I cannot get any stars due to light pollution. So, the best bet would be go to the mountain at night with clear sky.

For sure, but I don't think the posted pics do it justice. When I look at them on my phone, the stars really pop out more, but on here you can't really see them. I agree with you though, would need to get away from the city to get some really awesome star photos done.

Or go anywhere, away from city lights. Living in the countryside, there's no comparison to the night sky with the city.

Astrophotography is also available on the S20 Ultra.

I've been super impressed with astrophotography mode! It's good for northern lights too if you live north enough for them. I recommend checking out some youtube tutorials for how to edit night sky photos! Here are some from my s22 . Check out lightpollutionmap . info for finding dark sites 20230804_232126_1000005976_1691225082.jpg20230608_011348_1000005076_1687231809.jpg20230110_232437_1000001114_1673421893.jpg20230110_231702_1000001104_1673421434.jpg
