PromotionsPurchased an S23 with trade in for S9. Got the S23 and Removed the S( from the Otter Box case it was in from new, and removed the protective screen. Packed it back in the boxes that the S23 came in. We received an email that our S9 screen or body was cracked. The attached pictures had a Galaxy Note in the pictures with an RMA number that wasn't ours. We were alerted because of the worn spots on the pics couldn't be our phone. Once I got them on my computer and zoomed up to read the label they had attached to the phone, I saw what they did. If they try to scam you, report it to your credit card company and block any charges from Samsung. I feel Samsung has a 3rd party handling the trade-ins and taking advantage of people.

Promotions(Btw it's a s22 ultra 512gb that need's a screen)
Now if i trade it in for the zfold6 id get 840$ for it
It wont be that way at the end of the month these deals are limited time and only on specific device
I bought a tab a7 lite lte 32gb in 2022 for 200$
now i just picked up a tab s9 ultra 1tb for 1550$ ive gotten 400$ discount and my tab a7 lite lte got trade for 400$ off
and honestly at double the price i paid how could i say no to that
Moral of the story check often, certain device are worth more if you trade it in for certain devices and at a certain period
So check deals often dont rush on trade in offers it might be higher or lower later you never know be patient

PromotionsSame experience here.
Purchased a S24 with a Pixel 6a as trade-in for a 90.00$ value. Just received email from Assurant with this note:
We’ve received your device and, based on the condition of the device upon inspection, have adjusted your Trade-in Value to $0.00. See below for details.
Make: Google
Model: GX7AS PIXEL 6A 128GB - GENERIC
Serial Number: REDACTED
Original Trade-in Value: $90.00
Adjusted Trade-in Value: $0.00
Promotional Trade-in Credit: $0.00
Total Adjusted Trade-in Value and Promotional Trade-in Credit Amount $0.00
We’ve adjusted your Trade-in Value for the following reason(s):
• Device has visible signs of wear & tear
Before sending the trade-in, I’ve made pictures and video of the Pixel 6a that was in absolute pristine condition without any visible signs of wear and tear. This phone has been protected by a case and a screen protector that I’ve removed for the trade-in.
I've sent pictures to Samsung support and i'll wait to see if something come out of it. This is my first Samsung smartphone and i'm not impressed at all. I'll probably fill a complaint with BBB and talk with my credit card for a charge back if nothing happen. Strangely, even if I got this email from Assurant, the Samsung trade-in website still show no assessment so I can't decline the 0.00$ offer and have to reply by september 12th.
