Samsung HealthI previously used a Samsung Galaxy phone but have now been using a OnePlus6T for a couple of years. I was happy that I was able to transfer Samsung Health to the new phone and I have been tracking my blood pressure there at my doctor's request. The app updated today and now it wants me to accept new terms, OK, no problem. It then says "Can't Set Up App" and "Samsung account session expired. Sign in to Samsung account again." OK, but then it crashes. I have logged into the samsung account I previously used on my new phone but that doesn't make a difference. I have backed up the Samsung Health app from my old Samsung phone and transferred it to the new phone and tried to restore using the same app as the old phone but it crashes just the same using the old app. I have read that I should delete the app from the new phone and try a fresh install but I am afraid that I will lose all the data. Please help!

Samsung HealthWhat happen if you only clear cache of Samsung Health and restart the device ?
Does your application get the last update ? @Tallman just advertise us about it
https://r1.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-note/samsung-health-update/td-p/9995423
Did you try to make a wipe cache partition on your device ?
First :
• Turn off your phone.
• Then hold down Volume Up and Power button until you see SAMSUNG Galaxy logo on the screen.
• After that select Wipe cache partition. Use Volume buttons to scroll and confirm with the Power button.
• Now go to Yes option.
• At last, choose Reboot system now by using the Power key.
Now your device should work better
When you got a major update, sometimes some files got corrupted so WE recommand you to make a Wipe Cache Partition after each major update.

Samsung HealthI am having the same issue discussed here. Following the recent Samsung Health update, I can no longer get into the app. When I first open it, I get the Privacy Notice screen. After tapping agree I get:
Can't set up app
Samsung account session expired. Sign in to Samsung account again.
I've already tried the steps listed here to clear my cache and restart the phone, and still get the same result.
By the way, my phone is not a Samsung - it's an LG V30. My previous phone was a Samsung and when I replaced it I found I could transfer my health history which is why I still use Samsung Health

Samsung HealthWhat if you don't have a Samsung phone? What are the steps?
I have a motorola g7. I cleared cache and rebooted, but that did not fix the problem. I'd like to keep using Samsung Health because I've been using it to track my progress, so hopefully there's a work around.

Samsung HealthFollowing worked for me on a oneplus.. Go into android settings, then accounts. scroll to the bottom of the list and turn off "automatically sync data". Go back into Health app and it went through 2FA process then launched ok. Once done, go back into android settings and re-enable auto sync

Samsung HealthThanks, @davej666. Your trick did not work for me, however it gave me an idea.
I deleted my Samsung account. When I opened the app, I was able to try to sign in again and reset/restart the account. Everything works! All of my data is still on n the app and I see the app was recording my steps the last several days, even when I couldn't open it.

Samsung Health@hydronerd, what did you use to delete your account? Was it via an app, or did you access it via your desktop computer?
My whole reason for wanting to continue using Samsung Health is that I have years of historical health data via that app. If that's lost and I have to start tracking anew, there are plenty of other health tracking apps I could switch to.

Samsung HealthOn my phone, I went to Settings --> Accounts --> Samsung Health Account --> Select Remove Account.
This only removes the account from the phone, it doesn't delete the account. The next time I opened the Samsung Health app, I was able to sign in again and access my app data. I think this just forces a hard reset on the login. Good luck!

Samsung Health@hydronerd I LOVE YOU! I fixed my app with your advice while Samsung support was not able to help me!
