When trying to access home monitoring on the JetBot page I get an error saying 'Couldn't register streaming server to use home monitoring'.

Hi mtoher,

The error message "Couldn't register streaming server to use home monitoring" typically occurs when the Jet Bot is unable to connect to the server required for home monitoring.

Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure that the Jet Bot and your phone or device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Verify that the Wi-Fi network is stable and has internet access.

Check permissions: Open the SmartThings app. Go to Device settings for the Jet Bot and ensure that permissions for streaming or monitoring are enabled.

Restart the Jet Bot and your Wi-Fi router. Force close the SmartThings app and reopen it.

Reconnect the Jet Bot to Wi-Fi: Reset the Jet Bot's Wi-Fi connection and reconnect it:

Put the Jet Bot into pairing mode (refer to the manual for your model). Reconnect it using the SmartThings app.

Re-add the Jet Bot to the SmartThings App: Remove the Jet Bot from the SmartThings app. Add it back and configure it for home monitoring again.

Thank you.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Can you expand on;

Check permissions: Open the SmartThings app. Go to Device settings for the Jet Bot and ensure that permissions for streaming or monitoring are enabled.

There's nothing I can see on the app that matches this?

Some Smart Home devices require a 2.4 Ghz WiFi connection to connect.

If you have WiFi 5/6, contact your ISP and ask them to enable 2 separate WiFi networks. One 2.4 Ghz & the other WiFi 5/6.. this assumes that you currently have only WiFi 5/6.

I had to do that for some Smart Bulbs.
